There once was a man of humble abode,
One night to him in a vision God showed,
To a house, he would be given the keys and deed,
But in the house great repairs each room would need.

To God, the man said, "I don't understand,
How can I make such repairs with my hands?"
Each room has defects with much work needed there,
The Lord said, "My Son", one room at a time, repair.

So the man said, "Ok Lord", and the vision was done.
He wondered when the keys to his house would come.
As the weeks went by the man would soon learn,
The true meaning of the vision, he had not discerned.

With the joy of the news of a child on the way,
The man put aside the vision God gave.
But from the child's birth great lessons would be learned,
And the truth of the vision would be discerned.

The man's child was born with a dreaded disease,
Tears in his eyes from the news could be seen.
With so many defects her future looked grim.
Doctor's gave them no hope that their daughter would live.

But in faith they stepped out and these reports they rebuked,
For a miracle of healing to the Lord they now looked.
Now many months later the man would share,
The truth of the vision he could declare.

The house repersented the child he'd been given.
The keys represented access to the powers of heaven.
The deed was the promises in God's word he received,
And the faith in these was all they would need.

The rooms he saw in dire need of repair,
Represented the defects his child would bear.
How would he accomplish these repairs with only his hands?
By folding them in prayer as on God's promises he stands.

One room at a time the Lord said repair,
Reperesented the process of healing declared.
One defect at a time the Lord had revealed,
He would be glorified as each one was healed.

Once blind she now sees, once deaf she now hears,
Once lame she will walk with lungs that are clear.
Once silent her voice now joyfully heard,
Will speak of the truth of God's Holy Word.

Once weak her heart beats steady and strong,
Once on machines, she now breathes alone.
Once dead she now lives and the truth is told
She is the house that God builds as every room He remolds.

One day you'll see as this story unfolds,
That the house that God gave them will be made whole.
By the hands of the Father, through the blood of the Son,
According to Thy Word, let Your Will be done.

I loved this poem when I read it and ask for permission to use it then purchased the graphics for it. I had  this set and planned to put it together just before my daughter had her accident.  She was in ICU for a week before waking up.  She had stopped breathing twice and we could have lost her so easily.  She is definately a miracle come true. Thanks to all of you who have prayed for Kelli.   Oh the power of prayer...  She has steadily improved and is doing so well. It has been a long three and ahalf weeks since that happened.  She is on a leave from the hospital for this weekend and will get out on Wednesday.  One full month in the hospital.  I have always believed in the power of prayer and in miracles.  I  can tell you now, I watched a miracle take place in my own daughter. She had medium to severe brain damage and we did not know what to expect when she woke up. I sent out prayer requests and spent much of my time in prayer. I can tell you she is doing wonderfully, and amazed the doctors and therapists.  She came to and was like a infant. She could not eat by herself or walk or sit up. She did know who we were,  but had to learn to  do so many things over. She has been in the Rehabilitation Institute Of Oregon for the past two weeks and has had speech, physical and occupational therapy. She has short term memory problems but has bounced back in leaps and bounds.   We have a wonderful Savior. The Almighty God, is so good to us and believe me, "Miracles do come true!"...
